River of Life Church can do its best work when we come together and serve with our gifts and talents. The Church, at its best, is a place where we gather together in worship, word, and service to those in need. Whether you volunteer as an usher, greeter, or in the River Kids Zone or Cafe, you have a part to play!
VIDEO TEAM/ CHURCH NEWS TEAM

This team shoots video during church services, announcements, and creative commercials to inform and draw people in.
R YOUTH/ YOUNG ADULTS
Leaders: Maurice & Erianna Scott
R Youth is our ministry for 8th-12th graders. ROL Young Adults is our ministry for 18 and graduated - 35 years old.
SOUND & LIGHTS TEAM
Leader: Greg Edwards
This team creates an atmosphere of excellence and worship by managing audio, visual, and lighting elements that enhance every service and event experience.
RIVER KIDS/ PARENT PAGER/ BOYS NIGHT OUT
River Kids is our ministry to Nursery - 7th grade. We believe that children are able to know God personally, to serve Him and walk with Him from an early age. River Kids Zone is focused on empowering children.

This team creates an atmosphere through art and decorating in the building for various events and seasons.
WORSHIP TEAM

This team is responsible for the worship during services and during special events at church (singers/musicians).
DANCE TEAM

This team is responsible for the dance performances during services and special events at church and in the community.
FLAG TEAM

This team is responsible for the flag dances during services and during special events at church and in the community.
SECURITY TEAM
Leader: Trent Dixon
This team is responsible for the safety of staff, pastors, and the church during services and events.
CLEANING TEAM
Leader: Rob McClellan
This team is responsible for cleaning the church building. You do not need to be a church member to join.
HOSPITALITY/PASTORAL CARE TEAM

These teams are responsible for making meals for church member during challenging times and for special church events.

This team is responsible for leading small life groups through River of Life Church.

This team is responsible for the recording church services, displaying lyrics and graphics, and running cameras for services.
CONNECT TEAM

This team is responsible for signing people up for events and other opportunities and answering questions after services.
NURSING HOME TEAM
Leader: Sandra Rivera
This team goes to Premier Nursing Home in Jacksonville each month to encourage the residents.
MARRIAGE TEAM

This team is responsible for encouraging marriages through classes, small groups, events, and retreats.
OUTREACH TEAM

This team extends the love of Christ beyond the walls of the church by serving the community, meeting practical needs, and building relationships that lead others to hope and faith.

This team is responsible for taking photos of church services and other special events.
GREETERS

This team is responsible for greeting first time guests at the church and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all who walk in the building.

RIVER MEN

River Men is our ministry to the men at the church. We host small groups, Bible studies, and special events throughout the year.
RADIANT WOMEN
Leader: Pastor Miriam Phillips
Radiant Women is the Women’s Ministry of River of Life Church in Jacksonville, North Carolina. We are a growing community of women passionately pursuing Jesus.
RIVER WISE
Leaders: James & Patricia Ladson
River Wise is our ministry to those who are 60 years old and older. We meet monthly on Saturdays at 10am.
SHINE GIRLS
Leaders: Topeka Benton & Quinika Williams
Shine Girls is our ministry to girls in K-7th grades. Our mission is that they grow up knowing who they are in Christ.
BOOKSTORE TEAM

The 2460 Bookstore is our store for merchandise, books, and other materials. We sell items that help with your spiritual growth each week.

This team is responsible for serving coffee & other food at River of Life Church's premier cafe.
