A Manual Called The Magic of Making Up
In a recent conversation, one of m
y friends complained that our modern world appears to be flooded with manuals. He went on to cite several examples to support his statement. One of these referred to the manuals that teach us how to use our universal remote. The other one alluded to the books that guide us through our hazardous love relationships.
My friend had a point, of course. In this day and age, we can find plenty of advice and guidelines to deal with whatever hurdle we meet. However, is the magic of making up that really a bad thing? I do not think so. Universal remotes have become increasingly complex and many of us do need instructions to use them.
As for his second example, let’s face it: personal relationships are never simple. Sometimes they can even turn downright messy. Under such circumstances, it is always useful to rely on expert advice, and e-books on these topics —for instance, “The Magic of Making Up”— can be an excellent source of good recommendations.
